"Life is a journey of choices and most often I have found myself taking the road less traveled. Too often, people think this road is too difficult to navigate but I have found taking the easy path is not always the best way. Working hard for something you truly want, makes you appreciate it that much more. I believe if I stay teachable and always willing to learn, anything is possible. By always striving to achieve my goals in life, by leading by a strong example, and through the application of Oriental medicine and Acupuncture, I hope to help people close to me achieve a higher state of well-being."

Danny, 26, Allergies & Eczema
My name is Danny and I'm 26 years old, around 163lbs and am an active and fit person who has had eczema my whole life and have been on numerous medications and creams to try to mask the issue. Most have failed and as I got older and had to deal with more stress, it only got worse. With my lifestyle, sweat does become a problem and Marcy approached me about an acupuncture treatment. After one session, I instantly saw a difference in my skin. The redness had mostly gone down and my allergies were much less sensitive.
Over several months, she gave me treatments and my skin only got better and better. I used to have issues about the appearance of my skin and now, most people can't even tell that I have any skin condition at all. It has really helped boost my confidence and outlook. Also I am more well rested and overall much healthier and happier thanks to Marcy's treatment and guidance. I really appreciate all her efforts, she was truly meant to be a healer.
Becky, 26, Sports Injuries & Recovery
My name is Becky; I am 26 years old and live in Boca Raton, Florida. I started CrossFit in the late summer of 2014. At first I was really nervous and worried about injuries and all the horror stories you hear but I was hooked. I continued on throughout the next couple of month’s injury free and constantly striving to get better. I know I will never be a professional athlete but I made it my goal to start competing in local competitions.
Just before the Open started, during a strength session we were doing 1RM front squats and I was squatting with the guys. I eventually built up to a weight that would have been a new PR but I couldn't bring it back up. Trying to bail out of the squat three of my fingers on my right hand got caught under the bar and my wrist hyperextended. It hurt, but at least I didn't break anything. It nagged me for a few months, the bad pain eventually subsided but there was always something there.
By the end of March, I don't remember how it happened but Marcy reached out to me and offered to treat me. She not only treated my wrist injury, she treated my back and spots that were just always nagging me. She made sure to educate me as to the why, where, and how for every needle she used. After the first treatment she told me no CrossFit for 24 hours. That Saturday, I went to my gym practically pain free and ready to take on 15.5 for the Open (which was the most challenging!). I made it a personal goal to finish that workout in 15 minutes, but I finished it in 10! I felt better than I had ever felt before. I felt as if I was given super powers. Marcy eventually treated me one more time before my first competition that April. I know one might find this hard to believe, but I was never sore throughout that entire weekend. Tired, but not sore.
Marcy has made me a believer! I always have believed in the back of my mind that this type of treatment would be the way to go but I never experienced it first hand. It is the best kind of rehab out there. Thank you Marcy!
Laura, 51, Back & Leg Pain
My name is Laura and I am 51 years old. For nearly a year, I suffered severe low back/leg pain that defied conventional treatment. After three transforaminal epidural steroid injections, I still could not sit without intense leg & back pain, could not lift anything, and could not travel further than 5 minutes from my home. Physical therapy offered some relief, but nothing could alleviate the worst of my leg pain. My life was completely centered on my pain. Skeptical, I only decided to try acupuncture because nothing else seemed to help. After the first few sessions with Marcy, the worst of my leg pain subsided. We’ve progressed so far that I can now sit through meetings, drive myself where I want to go, and eat meals sitting down. Another bonus: being able to function without harmful pain medications has improved my overall health. Marcy’s compassion and love for her work made the entire experience a positive one for me. Through both treatments and exercises, Marcy has given me the tools to overcome debilitating pain and take back my life.
Paul, 24, Plantar Fasciitis, Patellar Tendinitis, & Shoulder Pain
My name is Paul Roller, I am 24 years old, I am from Shenandoah, PA (originally), and I train competitively for CrossFit for approximately 3 hours per day, 5 days per week. When I lived in South Florida, I met Marcy through our CrossFit box and she began to treat me for numerous chronic issues I was having, including plantar fasciitis, patellar tendinitis, and shoulder pain. At that point, I had been through the ringer with trying out every possible treatment option imaginable, and nothing helped me. I decided to try out acupuncture (among other treatment modalities) with Marcy, and within 24 hours of being treated, I honestly felt a noticeable difference in my pain level, mobility and overall energy. My weekly appointments with her allowed me to keep training during that time and significantly aided in my recovery from hard training sessions. I have nothing but good things to say about Marcy and her treatments.
Ariana, 34, Sports Recovery/ Related Injuries
My experience with Marcy was excellent! I have been fighting lower back pain and knee issues for a number of years due to the countless hours I’ve trained for an Ironman, many triathlons, CrossFit and marathons. My first visit with Marcy opened my eyes! She is extremely knowledgeable in Chinese Medicine and she helped me realize the importance of Chinese Medicine and how powerful it can be for one’s body. Marcy began treating my back with acupuncture and cupping. The second day after my treatment I couldn’t believe how I didn’t have any pain. After that, I was hooked and relieved that I finally found treatment and someone that I could trust. I knew this type of treatment was the best. Over the next few years, I began seeing Marcy more often and each time after her sessions my pain would dissipate. Marcy is also an athlete and she always put things into perspective for me. She once told me “You train hard for six days out of the week and only allow yourself one day off. How do you expect your body to heal with all that strain?” Wow, that was like a light going off and I realized that I should probably pay more attention to my body and allow it to heal. Marcy always answered all my questions and gave me insight on each technique she performed and how it worked. Marcy is truly one of a kind and I appreciate not only her treatments but also the knowledge she shared with me. I was so impressed with Marcy that I brought my Fiancé who is an avid runner for treatments along with his brother. They both were extremely pleased with Marcy’s treatments as well.

Stacey, 59, Back & Body Pain
I am 59 years old and from South Florida. When I met Marcy. I had trouble in my lower back, mid back, neck, tingling in my left foot and my hips were so tight that I could not stretch anymore. I met with her twice a week for the first month and found relief in many of the areas that were so painful in the past. She provided acupuncture treatment on every visit. I have to apologize for not knowing all the names of the modalities she used on me but acupuncture gave me the most relief and reduced the pain greatly. She also had me doing some stretching on my own to loosen my hips in between treatments. She set goals for me to achieve. Within a very short period of time, I was back to myself without the discomfort of all those nagging injuries I had dealt with for so long. I could turn my head from side to side for the first time in months without pain. I was flexible, strong, mobile, and could resume my physical life style. Marcy has a way of making you feel that she cares and is concerned about you as a person. She helped me to relax which allowed the treatments to work for me. I was very tense when I first came to her and afraid that I might not get better. Marcy has a way of making you feel special, like you are her only patient. She makes you feel like family.
I want to thank her for everything she did for me. I would highly recommend her to anyone needing her expertise and advise anyone who would want to employ her that they would be lucky to have her.
P.S. A co-worker, who had bragged about how Marcy had helped her with a painful back issue, referred me to her.
Christine, 71, Acid Reflux & General Well Being
My name is Christine Allan and I am 71 years old. I personally was treated by Marcy L'Hommedieu with acupuncture 3-4 times a month for over a period of a year. In my experience both in the U.K. and USA, Marcy is the most gifted and professional now physician, I have experienced. Marcy has a true knack for diagnosis. She only needs to ask a few questions and she actually seems know the problem more than the patient does. When she treats her patients and one leaves the office, one feels so much better and very much at peace with the world.
We miss you in South Florida Marcy.
